Roosevelt Terrace was built in 1970 and consisted of 50 small, non-functional apartments arranged in a cluster of buildings. The redevelopment plan reconfigured and rehabilitated these 50 units into 40 larger multi-family housing units comprised of one, two and three bedroom units. Located within a few blocks of the LSU Campus, the $6.7 million renovation effort for the East Baton Rouge Parish Housing Authority proved to be a very cost effective solution.
